Photography & AI Image Enhancement Policy

Physical Studio Photography
Some photographs displayed on our website, social media or other marketing materials may be professionally edited or enhanced using traditional editing software and/or AI-assisted tools.
These tools are primarily used to improve the presentation and consistency of our photography.
Enhancements may include changes to:
Backgrounds and surrounding environments
Lighting, exposure and contrast
Image sharpness and clarity
Colour balance
Gloves, stands and other presentation elements
Positioning or presentation of packaging and accessories
Removal of unrelated objects or distractions
The purpose of these enhancements is to create a consistent, professional presentation across Crown & Co.—not to misrepresent the watch being offered.
We Do Not Intend to Mislead Our Customers
We believe customers should be able to make informed purchasing decisions with confidence.
AI enhancement is therefore not intended to change or misrepresent the identity, specification, materials, features or condition of a timepiece.
We do not intentionally use AI enhancement to conceal material scratches, dents, chips, cracks, damage, significant wear or other defects that could reasonably influence a customer's purchasing decision.
The reason we have published this policy is simple: we want to be completely transparent about our use of AI and ensure customers understand the difference between enhanced presentation photography and the actual watch they will receive.
Customer Photos & Videos — No AI Enhancement
This is an important distinction.
Any photographs or videos sent directly to a customer for the purpose of inspecting, reviewing or approving their actual timepiece will not use AI enhancement.
Before dispatch, where we provide a customer with photographs or video footage of their watch, these will show the actual physical timepiece and will not be AI-generated or AI-enhanced.
We will not use AI to alter the watch's:
condition, dial, bezel, case, bracelet, strap, colour, finishing, markings, accessories or other physical characteristics in customer inspection photographs or videos.
This gives customers the opportunity to see their actual timepiece before it is dispatched rather than relying solely on professionally presented website imagery.
